Valiant Hearts | Developer Diary 3: History

Valiant Hearts is a fictional look into the ordinary and extraordinary people of World War I, but it is very much inspired by the harsh and even delicate realities of the time. Built on partnerships with official World War I historian groups, Valiant Hearts is a game that reaches beyond mere storytelling and into a past almost forgotten.

This is the story of crossed destinies and a broken love in a world torn apart. Four unsung heroes will try to survive the horror of the trenches along with their faithful canine companion.

In Valiant Hearts, the lives of these characters are inextricably drawn together over the course of the story. Friendship, love, sacrifice and tragedy befall each one as they help each other to retain their humanity against the horrors of war. Experience this story on June 24th, 2014 on PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4.
